Cambridge junior David Garcia etched his name into the school record books on Tuesday, netting a hat trick to lead the Bobcats to a 5-0 victory over Caldwell.
Garcia's three goals brought his season total to 31, breaking the previous Cambridge single-season goals record of 29 established by Chad Gerlach in 2008. The milestone performance highlighted a dominant team effort that shut down the visiting defense.
The record-breaking campaign highlights a standout junior season for Garcia, who continues to lead the Bobcats' offensive attack as postseason play approaches.
