CAMBRIDGE, Ohio — The highly anticipated Midtown Market is entering its final stages of development, with an official opening projected for later this month, August 2026.
While a specific date for the grand opening has not yet been finalized, the 30,000-square-foot downtown marketplace is already bustling with activity as it prepares to launch.
Local Hiring Underway
In preparation for the launch, Midtown Market is actively building its team. The market is hosting on-site hiring event at its 1023 Wheeling Avenue location today, August 14.
Job seekers can drop off resumes at the front entrance between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM.
Events Calendar Filling Fast
Anticipation for the multi-level marketplace is growing among the local business community. The Cambridge Area Chamber of Commerce has already locked in a Chamber Happy Hour event at the venue, scheduled for September 17, 2026.
Housed in a meticulously renovated, 104-year-old former car dealership building, the finished project will feature a collaborative mix of local food vendors, co-working spaces, and family recreation.
Organizers state that the official grand opening day announcement will be shared soon. Community members are encouraged to monitor the official Midtown Market Facebook page for the impending announcement.
