Tri-Valley junior running back Leevi Wade delivered a historic performance on Oct. 16 at Jack Anderson Stadium, rushing for a record-breaking 362 yards and five touchdowns to lead the Scotties to a 38-21 victory over Sheridan in the Muskingum Valley League-Big School Division.
Wade shattered his own single-game program rushing record on 38 carries, highlighted by touchdown runs of 74 and 86 yards. The stellar outing pushed Wade past the 2,000-yard rushing mark for the second consecutive season and made him the first player in MVL history to record three 300-yard rushing games in a single season.
With the win, Tri-Valley built commanding advantages including a 21-0 lead in the second quarter and a 38-14 margin early in the fourth, overwhelming the Generals and adding another memorable chapter to the rivalry.
