Muskingum University defeated Marietta College by a score of 3-1 on Saturday afternoon, Oct. 24, 2026, in Ohio Athletic Conference men’s soccer action.
Muskingum got on the board early when Darrik Hall scored off a free kick from Kanon Riehl just over two minutes into the match. Deaton Shade later served up another set piece in the 58th minute that Jonathan Gonzalez headed to Elliot, who finished it off for his second goal of the match. Goalkeeper Lucas Matesic anchored the defense with three saves.
The victory lifts Muskingum to 9-5-2 overall and 1-4-1 in the OAC, while Marietta falls to 4-7-3 overall and 2-3-1 in conference action.
