Buckeye Trail senior Sam Wayble concluded a stellar high school golf career by competing against the state's best at the OHSAA Division III Boys State Golf Tournament at NorthStar Golf Club.
Wayble carded a 36-hole total score of 162 to tie for 30th overall in a competitive 72-golfer field. He opened tournament play on Monday with a strong round of 78 before closing out his prep career with an 84 on Tuesday.
Wayble's appearance at the state tournament caps a decorated career for the Buckeye Trail standout, representing the school proudly on the state's biggest prep stage.
