The Bishop Rosecrans Bishops earned their first win of the season in dominant fashion, shutting out the Miller Falcons 27-0 during homecoming celebrations in Zanesville.
Running back Frankie Palandrani led the offensive explosion for the Bishops, churning out a monstrous performance that culminated in four touchdowns on the night. Palandrani capped off his scoring output with his fourth touchdown with five minutes remaining in the game to seal the 27-0 final score. The second half featured stout defense and scoreless play, with defensive stops and punts halting both squads until Palandrani's final late-game score.
The victory puts Bishop Rosecrans into the win column for the 2026 season for the first time. The Bishops will look to build on the momentum next week on the road against the Millersport Lakers, while the Miller Falcons aim to regroup against the Summit Country Day Silver Knights.
