The local fair board has officially reversed its decision regarding proposed changes to the upcoming livestock hog sale.
The reversal came after an outpouring of concern from area youth participants, 4-H advisors, and local agricultural families who voiced opposition to the original policy change.
Board representatives stated they re-evaluated the decision in light of public feedback to ensure the best outcome for youth exhibitors. They can decide whether or not to bring their hogs or not.
