Following severe thunderstorms and major flash flooding that impacted communities across Muskingum County, local leaders and emergency managers have launched a comprehensive debris cleanup operation. Torrential rains caused severe flooding in Roseville, Crooksville, and areas surrounding the Muskingum County Fairgrounds.
The Muskingum County Commissioners, in partnership with the County Emergency Management Agency and local township road crews, established coordinated roadside pickup services to assist homeowners in disposing of storm-damaged trees, limbs, and household wreckage. County officials emphasized that restoring infrastructure and public safety remains their top priority.
Residents are encouraged to stack flood debris along public rights-of-way according to local guidelines as crews work systematically through affected neighborhoods. Recovery resources and consumer protection guidance are also being distributed to affected families.
