The Muskingum County Sheriff's Office released its internal findings regarding the tragic death of K-9 Officer Cooper, who passed away from heat exhaustion after being left inside an unmarked department vehicle.
Following the internal inquiry, criminal charges were filed against a department detective in connection with the incident, bringing renewed scrutiny to department protocols.
