The Ohio State Highway Patrol is conducting an investigation into a fatal single-vehicle crash that occurred early Saturday morning, August 29, in Falls Township. Emergency crews responded to County Road 2 near Plantation Drive around 2:25 a.m.
According to preliminary reports, a northbound 2021 Mercedes traveled off the right side of the roadway. The driver, a Zanesville man, was pronounced deceased from injuries sustained in the collision. Troopers continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
